OMG! I finally saw Celina Rei for the first time this year! We went to a club to celebrate her sister Michelle’s 24th B-day (Geez! I feel old)… Anyway, Celina Rei got me this cute Hello Kitty scrapbook kit for Christmas.

So adorable! But… What Hello Kitty product isn’t!?

Amandabot just came back from Taiwan a few days ago and brought me back so much Hello Kitty goodies (I will be posting very soon hopefully). Here is one of the things she brought back — seems like just in time too!

The package of red Chinese New Year themed envelopes came with five pieces… which means I had to deal with the stress of “should I keep all of them” or “should I give them to my friends?” So I asked myself one simple question — WWHKD (What Would Hello Kitty Do?)
So I distributed them amongst my friends. What good is it if I don’t share, right?

Sanrio’s phrase is “Small Gift, Big Smile” and it totally fits. I believe Hello Kitty and her friends promote happiness, kindness and love (while taking in more and more $$$ each year). Or maybe the people over at Sanrio know how to market their products extremely well. Anyway, all the little things I have received from family, friends, co-workers, even strangers… have all put a big happy smile on my face!
I seem to get a lot of stationery from people. My friend Charles gave me a Hello Kitty surprise after I got him some riding shorts for his B-day… He didn’t have to and I wasn’t expecting anything. But he got me a little something to say Thanks — and that totally made my day! How can it not make your day when you get Hello Kitty stuff out of the blue? Included in his little gift set was this violet notepad diecut in the shape of a pair of shoes…

This is a really cute notepad, so cute that my Mom and my ex-boss Chris both got it for me… I guess they both have great taste.

I bought the pink notepad because I wanted to leave longer messages for people in the office on cute paper (instead of the yellow post-its).

The inside sheets are so cute!

I love pink!

I think Celina got this pink letter set for me. I believe I wrote her a letter on it last year when she was living in Michigan (which would explain the missing stickers).

This Hello Kitty Valentine’s Day set is too cute — I had to have it! I’m not 100% certain it is a Valentine’s Day set, I just know that Sanrio Surprises had it pre V-day.

Dang… I need to start logging all of my Hello Kitty belongings because I am starting to forget how I got some things, like this blue letter set…

I have no idea if this really smells…

When I was in the third grade, my friends and I started a sticker club. My collection back then was made mostly of Lisa Frank stickers… I may still have some hidden in some random boxes in my garage somewhere.
Stickers made me happy then… And they keep me happy now.
Someone gave me the Halloween stickers, which are so cute! I love The Wizard of Oz too!

I don’t know why… I just cannot resist sometimes…

The My Melody and Hello Kitty stickers below are two sections from a big roll. I love how cute they are all dressed up in different colorful outfits.

I am missing some stickers on the My Melody sheet because I like decorating inside of cards when I write in them. *Reminder to self: I really need to get in the habit of buying at least two of everything.

The Little Twin Stars and My Melody sticker sheets are some of my favorites! I have been saving them because I really love them — they are raised plastic glittery stickers. I have some Hello Kitty ones too but the sheet is almost empty because I try to put that onto a lot of personal cards I give to my friends.

There are two kitty-tastic reasons to eat at Mickey D’s: 1. French Fries and 2. Hello Kitty toys in the girls’ Happy Meals. Here is a lineup of toys from 2005? I cannot remember too clearly but I know it was the year of Hello Kitty’s 30th anniversary.

The small toaster has paper toast inside — Tracy gave it to me when McDonald’s first started putting them into the happy meals.

Hello Kitty spinning ballerina…

Hello Kitty calendar

Hello Kitty figure, which sits on top of a small plastic compartment and has bracelets you can wear…

Hello Kitty plush doll (the one on the right is from a previous series of Hello Kitty happy meal toys)…

Last summer, Mickey D’s collaborated with Sanrio again to bring a new series of happy meal toys…

To me, the Hello Kitty’s 30th anniversary series was the best. But I am glad McDonald’s has these Hello Kitty toys in the happy meals — gives me an excuse to eat fast food (yes, I know you can get just the happy meal toys without the food, but I love their french fries).
