I am not the biggest fan of Paris Hilton, but she can’t be bad if there is a Hello Kitty doll that looks like her… right? She was interviewed at NGTV (the place where I work) a few weekends ago. I was not able to make it, but Joii took some flicks for me.

Cuteness Galore!
It’s been crazy busy at work lately, so I wasn’t able to keep up with the updates. My boss Amul showed me this a couple of days ago: ‘Hello Kitty’ MMO goes into beta and yes, I did go straight to Hello Kitty Online and subscribe for the closed beta (as any true Hello Kitty Junkie would).
Just from the little sneak peak on the site, I can tell that many of my hours will be spent on building up my character in that cute little world. Here are some screenshots of the super cute Hello Kitty Online…
It’s so delightfully cute, I think I might cry… jk… not really… The people at Sanrio Digital did a pretty amazing job with the user interface. Everything looks so clean and functional.

This world just reminds me of the Care Bears and Rainbow Brite… I loved the cartoons and movies as a child and often wished I could live in their bright colorful world — now it looks like I will be able to virtually live in a happy cheerful Hello Kitty world. Ahhh… nostalgia — it’s that thing that happens when you get older…
Looks like there will be many fun little games in the world — kind of like Club Penguin (which is a social network where you can “waddle around and meet new friends!”)

OMG! I finally saw Celina Rei for the first time this year! We went to a club to celebrate her sister Michelle’s 24th B-day (Geez! I feel old)… Anyway, Celina Rei got me this cute Hello Kitty scrapbook kit for Christmas.

Amandabot just came back from Taiwan a few days ago and brought me back so much Hello Kitty goodies (I will be posting very soon hopefully). Here is one of the things she brought back — seems like just in time too!
The package of red Chinese New Year themed envelopes came with five pieces… which means I had to deal with the stress of “should I keep all of them” or “should I give them to my friends?” So I asked myself one simple question — WWHKD (What Would Hello Kitty Do?)
So I distributed them amongst my friends. What good is it if I don’t share, right?

AHHHHHHH!!! I know, I know… I will never ever look at Chococat the same way again… EVER! Again, this was made possible by Adam, who thought it was very funny, of course… Actually, everyone downstairs in the Graphics Department came over to Adam’s desk just to see what I was freaking out over.

That image also lead me to mimiau on deviantART where you can find more kinky/naughty stuff in the [hello kitty porn flashmobb] section… I can’t help but to feel very awkward, disturbed and uncomfortable — Hello Kitty is not supposed to make anyone feel like that.
It is unbelievably cute! I don’t know what else to say, except I patiently await for the day to come when I can have my own plushie and a bag…
Again, tokidoki + Hello Kitty = Kawaii
Simone Legno is so inspirational. I recently watched lynda.com’s tutorial tokidoki: Creative Inspiration… And look at what I spotted! Yes, there he is again sporting the tokidoki for Hello Kitty necklace… Must… have…one.
The videos are pretty short — about one hour in total and Simone speaks about how he started and takes you quickly through his design process from sketch to final.
I know you cannot see the tokidoki for Hello Kitty necklace in the next screenshot, but I love his stickered out Macbook — I think I’m going to sticker mine out too!
Or at leat that’s what the sign said. I went to lunch with some of my favorite No Good friends — Em, Nicky Kitty and Joii! I got a little excited when I saw this sign in front of the Tokyo Japan’s Outlet shop located near Sawtelle and Olympic. Joii was nice enough to take the pictures… and Em and Nicky Kitty wanted to be included in the picture too! As you can see, Em was very excited that V-Day is approaching.

I have a really good friend at work and his name is Nicky Kitty — he likes the Transformers, Star Wars, Guitar Hero, Rockband… He is the one who gave me my cute Hello Kitty Chinese Zodiac figures and the adorable lamp that sits on my desk at work. Anyway, here is a little sample of what our conversations on iChat look like……
He told me that one of his friends thought he liked Hello Kitty because she saw the things he got for me… And she gave him a doll! Isn’t that so sweet!?!
